My name is Jonathan Thornton, and I've been teaching high school band and music for 14 years now. Wow, crazy how time flies. I'm originally from Ontario, where I earned my undergrad degree and education degree, but I moved across the country for my first teaching job. I live in Sylvan Lake with my wife and two young kids - it's an excellent town to raise a family! We love everything about this community and I'm really enjoying working with the awesome students and great staff at HJ!
